In order to provide consistent quality from your digital image files, we need to create guidelines by which files are created and organized prior to delivery to our lab. Following these standards will help us process your order in a more timely and efficient manner. Files requiring fixing or reformatting will be subject to an additional charge.

Digital Camera Media, CD's, ZIP Disks, and Online File Delivery

We are able to print from Compact Flash, Micro Drives, Smart Media, Memory Stick, XD, SD. amd MMC.

• Files must be in JPG or TIFF format.
• All files must be in 8-bit RGB color and cannot have any layers, channels, paths, or LZW compression.
• File names must have only one period followed by jpg or tiff. There cannot be any apostrophes, exclamation points, or other characters.
• Files should be sized properly to avoid cropping. (ie.- 4x6 sized file for 4x6 print)
• For quality results, images should have a resolution of 300 ppi at print size for images up to 12x18 and 150 ppi for images up to 24x36.

Color management

We use specialized color balancing software and colorimeters to balance our monitor and printers to provide the most accurate color prints. Please be aware that due to differences in monitors and the lack of professional balancing on most home equipment, the files seen on our monitors and the resulting prints may differ in color or density from what you see on your monitor.

Professional Photographers - FTP with Organized File Folders

The FTP system is intended for professional photographers who need prints from a large volume of files.

• Each different print size must have a seperate folder labeled as such. Example: A folder named "5x7 matte" or "8x10 E". Images needing multiple sizes should be duplicated in each corresponding folder.

Open Account: Open billing accounts are available to select commercial clients and professional photographers only. Credit applications are available by request. We require a completed credit application, before an account can be opened. If you have questions, please contact one of our staff.

Past Due Proceedures: Past due accounts lose open account status 5 days after payment is due. Credit card accounts will be charged for any past due amounts at that time. Until an account is brought current, all orders will be C.O.D.

Insufficient Funds: A $25.00 service charge will be accessed for each check returned due to insufficient funds.

Sales Tax: State sales tax will be charged on every order unless we have a completed sales tax exemption certificate on file. Forms are available from our lab. We will be happy to fax, email, or mail a form to you upon request.
